Delightful little hostel in a great location. Outstanding service, clean toilet and shower rooms (good heat and water pressure), nice linens included blankets, pillows and towels. Hosts were friendly and available for help 24/7. Free cereal bar breakfast, coffee/tea, and shared pantry items like bread, oils, and seasonings. Fabrizzio's staff cultivate a family like feel for visitors. They cooked several homestyle meals for all traveller's to share at 9 pm dinner - including traditional tapas, pizza night and taco night. One night was free sangria, another free cocktails. Guests were welcome to contribute to community meals, but it wasn't expected. Two free meals most days meant we had more money to spend elsewhere. The shared meals and tight space in the community led to guests really spending more time with each other, very positive social experience. We spent nights in both the private double twin, and the 3-twin rooms. Generous spaces, very comfortable and affordable. As Fabrizzio's website makes clear, this is a traveler's hostel, not a party hostel. Quiet hours begin at 11 pm and are enforced via gentle shushing by the hosts. Guests who did go out at night were very respectful and quiet upon return. As an older traveler, I felt very comfortable and welcome. Most guests were in their 20s, but a few were 40-60. Sharing different perspectives was great! I would recommend Fabrizzio's Petit to any travelers, especially those mature looking to balance quiet rest with social experiences and budget travelers.

Please take note that the entrance to the hostel isn't well-marked - looks like any other entrance on the street - so keep a lookout and note that the hostel is actually on the second floor! Because my flight landed early in the morning, I asked if it'd be possible to check in early (or at least hang out in the common areas). Not only did the staff reply quickly but I was told I could check in immediately because a bed had already been prepared for a no-show, so yaay! Really friendly and helpful staff who take the time to talk and get to know you, and to explain what's available in the area and give suggestions Easy and convenient location - within walking distance of Passeige de Gracia, Sagrada, the marina, etc. and a bunch of restaurants, shops and bars. Yet, the street itself is very quiet Has a lovely outdoor balcony area at the back of the property that's great when the weather's good Kitchen is very well-stocked with coffee, tea, fruits, snacks, cakes, milk, juices and so on. Somehow the way the kitchen was designed also makes it feel very homey, like you want to hang out in there. The rooms themselves are nice and large, and have plenty of space considering 8 people share one room. It never felt cramped or squashed.

So this was my first time staying in a hostel and I loved it. I was nervous at first because as a solo traveler you never know what could happen and what type of experience is waiting for you but mine was amazing. The people working there were so nice and welcoming. You really feel like a part of the community.. There are four bathrooms and each and every one of them was always clean which was a really important thing for me. And right there you can see how much the staff is trying to make everything perfect.. Regarding the kitchen I really liked that it was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and is big enough for a few people to use at the same time so nobody was ever bothered. Location is great, metro is like 2/3 minutes away by foot, also the supermarket and the pharmacy (hopefully you won’t need one). They also have a balcony with a nice view that you can enjoy any time during the day. Rooms are spacious enough so that everybody can have a little corner for themselves, the only thing I would add are the bad curtains. That was the only thing missing for me, but even without that overall experience was truly perfect!!! Definitely a recommendation!!!

We had a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly. The shared spaces are monitored which give you a save feeling overall. We had a lot of space in de 4 person dorm, with multiple places to hang cloths or coats. The sealing was high and spacious. The three available toilets were shared with other guests and there were 2 showers. We got a towel and if needed we could ask for an extra towel. The facility was cleaned every day, overall it was clean as could be expected from a hostel. Breakfast was also very sufficient with cereal, muesli, croissant, cake and fruit. Also for lactose intolerance, there was soja milk and other juice in the kitchen available. The beds were fine, the bunk beds made a little bit of noise when moving, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with earplugs. Next to each bed there is a socket, a night light and space to put your phone on. The shared balcony is looking out over the inner garden and provides sun and peace. The only downside was that we needed to brush our teeth in the toilet sink. The sink was big enough, so just make due. Also, we would have preferred a mirror in the room as well.

I only have amazing things to say about this hostel—it exceeded my expectations in every way! Firstly, the 8-bed dorm was spacious and didn’t feel crowded at all. The balcony was a real highlight with a lovely view, and the bed was comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen was outstanding. Guests can cook and store food in the fridge, and they offer free cereals, fruits, croissants, bread, jams, and juice throughout the day (as long as the kitchen is open). This is such a huge perk for travelers looking to save on food costs! The common room was cozy and ideal for working with my laptop. The additional balcony here added to the homey atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind. The location is perfect—tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but still close to tourist attractions. And finally, the staff were amazing! All three were friendly and went above and beyond, letting me do a small load of laundry for free and offering great restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend this hostel if you’re visiting Barcelona!
